100th BCBA Meeting: A Grand Celebration of Entrepreneurial Excellence!

The 100th meeting of the Bassein Christian Business Association (BCBA) was a glittering success, with over 175 delegates gracing the occasion. Held with grandeur and spirit, the evening was a true testament to the entrepreneurial excellence within our community. The event opened with the introductions of the partnering associations – BCBA and Dimensions. While the journey of BCBA was presented by founder member Herman Dsouza, the vision and mission of Dimensions Global Christian Chamber of Commerce ( DGCC) was presented by the Chairman – Sylvester Rodrigues.

The event was hosted by Eric Fonseca – from MEBT Glass – a member of BCBA.

The Highlights
1. An Inspiring Address by Bishop Thomas D’Souza

The evening was graced by the presence of Bishop Thomas D’Souza, a proud son of Vasai, who delivered a thought-provoking address. Drawing inspiration from the parable of the foolish steward, he reminded entrepreneurs of their calling to manage their talents wisely and make a lasting impact. His message emphasized the importance of building strong relationships in daily and professional life—a vital key to entrepreneurial success.

2. Unveiling the Souvenir

The much-anticipated souvenir was unveiled by Bishop Thomas D’Souza alongside advertisers, contributors, and the editorial team. Special recognition goes to Besty Reuben Mathew, the Editor of the magazine, and to Nina and Shirley from NUIT Solutions, for their brilliant design efforts. This beautifully crafted keepsake captures the essence of BCBA’s remarkable journey to its 100th milestone.

3. Felicitation of Achievers The evening celebrated exceptional achievements:

  2. Metilda Stanley of Techsurance Pvt Ltd
  3. Russel Britto, BCBA’s weightlifting champion, congratulated for his stellar accomplishments.

4. Member Stalls: A Hub of Opportunities

The member stalls added vibrancy to the evening, offering a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services. From promotions to transactions, the stalls provided an excellent opportunity to engage and network.

5. Infomercials:

Showcasing BCBA Talent The infomercial session offered members the chance to present their businesses to the audience in a dynamic and engaging manner. Each pitch was a display of creativity and professionalism.

6. Connecting Across Boundaries During the informal session, Delegates connected with peers, building new relationships and strengthening existing ones. Seasoned entrepreneurs shared nuggets of wisdom with new entrants, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mentorship.

7. Acknowledging Contributions A special thanks to Founders of BCBA and BOD of Dimensions, the editorial team, The Working Committee of BCBA, Souvenir Advertisers, Sound and Venue teams, and all contributors who made this evening unforgettable. The evening closed with a sumptuous dinner and dessert spread organised by BCBA to make this milestone memorable. Delegates bonded further by passing on referrals and business exchanges over the dining table.
